Winterhaven Light Festival

We visited the 63rd annual Winterhaven Festival of Lights in Tucson. For over 60 years, the residents, over a 12 block radius have been relishing in the holiday spirit and giving back to their community at the same time. These residents encourage spectators to bring canned food and donations for the Tucson Community Food Bank. In 2012 they donated over 33,905 pounds of canned food and over $20,000 just from visitors like us. We enjoyed the decorations, the lights, the carolers, but we also enjoyed donating too!
