Easter 2012 in Anza Borrego Desert

Here's a little more catch up from last year....

Easter 2012 was spent in the Anza Borrego Desert camping at the primitive campsite Arroyo Solado.  We had near perfect weather the whole time.  A day trip deep inside the Anza Borrego Desert lead us to the oasis called 17 Palms and the famous post office barrel hidden in the palms.

Here is a link with a little more details and history of this area.

We counted a few more than 17 Palms

The famous post office barrel can be seen between the palms

Just the way we like it.... deserted desert

    1. The "local" and I totally connected! He was not shy and we had so much fun watching him get a suntan and scurry around the desert!
